Ecosystems, Land-use and Human Well-being in the UK

Snowdownia Narional park, Wales, 5th - 8th February 2013

This annual training course has been running since 2008, taking place each year at the Plas Tan y Bwlch training centre at Snowdownia National Park, Wales.

The training course examines the links between ecosystems and human well-being in the UK, and focuses on how these linkages should be accounted for within land use and development planning policies.

The course isrun by the Countryside Council for Wales with support from the Welsh Assembly Government, the Scottish Government, the Wales Environmental Research Hub and the COHAB Initiative.


COHAB Initiative Regional Workshops

The COHAB Initiative will shortly launch a new regional strategy which will establish a network of COHAB Initiaitve Focal Points, and establish a biennial round of regional workshops starting in February 2013.
